Desert Botanical Gardens is a volunteer-run spot that works to showcase all the natural charm of Phoenix. This area straddles 140 acres with 55 of those under cultivation. As you explore the property, you can see over 50,000 plants in the outdoor gardens with over 500 rare and endangered species in their care. Their goal is to preserve this gorgeous city so future generations can enjoy it to its fullest!
Details of the Grounds
With Desert Botanical Gardens, you will have everything you need for a perfect wedding right here on the property. Your day will start out in the dressing room, where you can put on all the finishing touches alongside your bridal party. This is the perfect place to split some mimosas and make memories before the ceremony even begins!
The venue offers several event spaces you can use throughout your wedding day. The Amphitheater is a favorite spot, offering stadium-style seating in a semi-circle. Your guests can gather around and sit on the stone benches as you exchange your vows in the center. The Boppart Courtyard is another great option with a desert landscape that will surround you as you exchange your vows. If neither of these are a match, just let the center know, and they will find you a location that suits you.
For your cocktail hour, your guests can move into several outdoor spaces, including the Kitchell Patio or the Ulman Terrace. Then, once it is time for your reception, you will be able to pick from indoor spaces like Dorrance Hall or outdoor spots like the Binns Pavilion. With 12 potential event spaces, you will be able to find the one that perfectly matches your style! The Gardens are able to host up to 250 guests.
